iain back with iains games and sports club

hi all iain here ,sfa qualified sports coach , melissa zoe & jonis dad  ,  i am starting up a games and sports club , we will be meeting at iains game zone next door to my wife leeannes hair and beuty salon , and then head up to the football pitch nearest the al kasar which i am getting ready for the february break , please post your various dates that the kids are off so i know what dates to run the activities from , also any advice on times we should start and finish would be great , 10 - 12 or 11 - 1 etc if busy enough we will run the club 2 times per day ,  we will be playing the usual games , football , rugby , races , crossbar challenge , catch ball , soft ball , duck duck goose , rounders, water fights plus many more fun games and lots of carry on , we also have a facebook page so please check it out , many thanks iain croarkin

It's great to hear your back. Our kids in the West Mids break up on the 14/02 for 1 week, unfortunately we won't be over for this break but we will be over for Easter. When we get the Easter dates I will post them for you on here.

Hi ian,

Sorry to ask but after 5k of community fees being spent/ planned to be spent on these football pitches..can you confirm you are renting from ML and not IRM...i hate to think they would take rent from you when it is the community who has spent money on them. Also insurance while using them...who insures anyone using these pitches...will it be IRMs public liability, as these pitches are not owned by the community so community insurance wont cover them, or do you have your own for outdoor sports??

I think the original post was for childrens school holiday dates so as to organise the other option of a kids club to entertain our children for a few hours a day while we as parents enjoy the resort.
Yet again you seem to be going off post as per dog shit bags to the AGM.
If community fees have been spent on renovating the pitches this can only be a positive for the resort instead of having them left over growing and of no use to anyone. (I am not sure but I think the regeneration of the pitches may of come out of the landscaping budget, but feel free to shoot me down if I am wrong).
As per the rent/insurance what right have any of us that post on here to question the business plan set up with Iain and ML . I would believe that any business that is looking after children has the proper licences and insurances before ML would even entertain letting them use the facilities. ( I know Iain has certificates and is CRB checked)
We should all be welcoming yet another business to CDA to provide alternative options to enhance the resort. Heaven forbid the resort turns into a 'Monopoly.'
Anyway if you know when the children are off in 'Norwich' please post the dates as per the original post and

Magoo, i just want to make sure that IRm are not pocketing ians rent which should be paid to Ml...and def not IRM.

The pitches are owned by IRM, the community agreed to spend money to bring them up to their former glory...I just want to ensure that IRM are not renting these out when we paid the money!!

What exactly is the problem?? I have no interest in Ians business plan....I am just curious if IRM have the audacity to charge rent when they dont contribute to the upkeep of the pitches! If anyone knows what is happening with the pitches then Ian should know as he is renting them!!!!

I wished Ian good luck and I meant it...but if we as a community are spending almost 5k from this years budget ( not landscaping...specifically says campo de Futbol/ football pitch) then we as a community should be getting the rent...ie paid to ML and not IRM who still havent paid their community charges.

I dont know ian and I am certainly not checking his qualifications....my only concern is that IRM are taking rent that should be paid to ML....

Why are you making such an issue of this?? Surely it is only right that Ians rent is going towards improving the pitches further or reducing the amount to be paid by the community on these pitches in 2014... Currently set at 4944.74 Euro...this is my only interest...that IRM are not taking the proverbial!!!! Again from an insurance point of view if the club is on IRM property which has been 'fixed up' by us as a community...whose insurance covers it!!!

I dont see why you have such a problem with us as a community knowing who is renting out the pitches and if injured whose insurance covers it??? There are grownups looking to hire pitches for 5 a side in the area...surely Ian couldnt have a problem in advising where to refer them to ...IRM or ML???? And whether IRM insurance or Ml would cover them???? Why would this info not be public knowledge???

All I want to see is our investment grow (here's hoping!) because the more we have to offer the better for all of us,

Theres just so much underhand dealings with IRM..i thought ian was the best person to tell us who he rented the pitches from....I know you love reading my old posts...so look up the one about renovating the pitches...I have issue with us spending money renovating pitches which arent ours for IRM to rent them out!! Insurance is more important than. Ian's qualifications...so why is it such a problem to ask whose insurance will cover the pitches. My friend severely injured herself walking through a glass door years ago and the newspaper office concerned didnt have insurance...its something that has concerned me ever since!!

I will start another thread about IRM and ML but surely I have the right to know my children are covered by insurance at this club?????

I have openly critisised Rosie in the past, however, on this matter I believe she makes an excellent and valid point. We have all contributed £5,000.00 toward the renovation of these pitches, wether we liked it or not (in my case NOT!) and without being consulted.

I would like to ensure that we are getting a return on the investment we unknowingly made, rather than the bankrupt banks snaffling what should be ours. Not being a parent myself, seeing CDA prosper financially is of more importance to me!

Just to ensure I dont incour the rath of Magoo - Bolton Half term 17th-21st Feb I believe! 

Well done Iain on getting going with this initiative again.  It's a welcome addition to the facilities we have here on the resort.  The more clubs, restaurants, pubs and new initiatives we have on the resort the better for all of us and it'll certainly entice more people to come here to the benefit of all residents.

Well done on ML voting you in as l2, makes it so much easier to use those football pitches that you decline to say who you are renting them off!!

Why can't iain tell people?? Whats the big secret???? Have you seen the pitches recently they need loads of money spending on them?? If iain is renting from the Community and that money is going back into our fees...then more power to him!!!

Personally I have no idea if there is some big secret going on here, yet if you are so interested in getting an answer to your question, go and ask ML.

All know there are big secrets here but in Spain that is life, if you complain or ask ML then you will have problems. Nothing any of us can do, do not worry Rose we know you are right.They do same to freddie and ramon. Go and enjoy Spanish sun leave ML and their presidentes to do they please.They do anyway no matter what persons will learn you are right, is time english and spanish together against them stand

Firstly my kids are thrilled that Iain is back as they loved his club last year when we were here on hols.  We're looking forward to coming bAck soon and join up again.  Secondly, having thought about moving my business here from UK I'm disappointed to see the way others in business are being treated on this forum. I've just joined up recently to get a feel for permanent life on the resort and I'm bewildered by how nosy people are being about how this chap is running his business. Do all business owners on the resort get questioned like this on open forum?  Hope not!

If nothing to hide nobody asks these questions ,is it not simple question.Ian not answer questions...look at dislikes for comments for him says it all, no?
