I bet that when Huma are legaly obliged by the courts to knock down all the properties illegaly built in Almanzora Valley and return the land to it's natural state the courts won't have any trouble getting a result and I bet their actions will be a lot quicker than the time span everyone else has had to wait.
I have just been reading posts from Viva Almeria that Rowlands posted in 2009. There are posters telling him then that OCC would not happen and up until feb 2010 he was still defending Carmen and Huma.
Don't forget santander is on board giving out mortgages???
I wonder if he sends any money to the spam e mail senders who tell you 'send money now you have won the lottery' etc, as he appears to believe anything.

I think by now most of us are either about to embark on getting our money back or are indeed in the process. Some have probably got their money back. Carmen has now definitely left the site and like so many of you I have received an email from Jose at Huma asking if we would be interested in a Penthouse or Apartment. We will definitely not be parting with any more money, only on Solicitors bills.
May I please ask if anyone has used Fuster Associates, Solicitors and have managed to get their money back with and without Bank Guarantees - would love to hear from you. We all need a GREAT Solicitor who can honestly get our well earned money back. We have been waiting 5 years for our property. Any help in this direction would be most appreciated. We definitely have one valid Bank Guarantee, the other 2 are now out of date so to speak - getting on our money back on these will take longer.
Thank you.

Hi Moon
Did you transfer to OCC? If so who is your BG with? Trying to get money back without a BG is near on impossible. I have never used Fusters but I remember several people in the past were not happy with them. I would have thought it would be worthwhile trying Maria who is always posting on this site. - she appears to be one of the first soilclitors suggesting suing the banks and to be honest if you don't have a valid BG that is probably the only way to get your money back.

I was of the impression that a bank guarantee never actually becomes out of date and it should still be valid. Most people with a bank guarantee appear to get their money back eventually. I am still waiting to hear of anyone over the last couple of years to get money back without one. Good luck Moon I think you stand a good chance of getting yours back.

Hi Nigela and Sparky - (have replied to Martin direct)
Thank you so much for your postings. Fuster have said that I will be able to get one of our payments back definitely, the other 2 probably a court case. However, I have contacted Maria and she has asked for various pieces of documentation to look at and will then give us a free quote about how much this would cost if we decided to go with them. I thought that this was really nice of her as you wouldn't get that in the UK, only at a cost. Like most people I never thought that Bank Guarantees went out of date but then we have had so much wool pulled over our eyes.
I will keep you posted as I believe Maria can help us all. Now down to form completion and lots of scanning.
Take care.
Hope everyone has a nice Christmas.

Hello good people.
Well its been a while since I have looked at this forum and I think its time for some sad reality folks. "We have all been ripped off!" from the day we got sucked in, our money is now gone. You will never see it again, I have lost €73k of hard earned money that I paid my tax on, so that some Spanish Bitch could drive around that God forsaken dust ridden part of Europe in a Tacky 4x4!
We have been duped by everyone, from the sellers right up to the top of the Spanish Governement. The only consliation that I have is that Spain is about to go bust and the Huns havent got any more money to bail them out because they have commited 70 billion Euros to us Paddys! and we have no plans on paying these greedy Europeans back when we get their money!
Our good neighbour.. ie, the UK offered us 7 billion, but we would rather stiff the Europeans instead...
My guess is that the Spanish will be living in Caves again soon enough and we can go and see them in their natural habitat as nature tourists. I have long overcome my despair and regret at loosing my money as I have just overcome a cancer scare and that really put things into perspective for me.
God bless you all this Christmas and may you all get peace and happiness in your lives in 2011.
As for the scumbags at Huma... "Tiocfaidh ar La!"...Your day will come!!!

I am in agreement with everybody who believes they will never see their money again. I've hav'nt lost, but have had taken from me 54,000 euros. The trouble is, there are too many of us in the same boat, and there is no way they can pay us all back. It is about time we all realised our money has gone, but do we all carry on lining Solicitors pockets in the vain hope that we may be the lucky one. What really gets me angry is the thought that these people from Huma, are still free to do what they like, still free to con other unsuspecting descent people. I will never forget, I will never forgive, and if there was one wish I could have granted for 2011, it would be to see the Directors, Managers and Sales people of Huma and Parador, wrotting away in prison. Their posessions seized, bank accounts frozen, let them suffer like some of us are doing right now.To do what I really want to do to them would put me in prison, so I ask the Almighty to grant me this one wish for 2011.
Happy New Year to everybody else, may your troubles be small, your heart be big and your life long

Hi All
Ages since I've posted on here and thought I'd drop in again
Hope you all had a good Christmas and here's wishing 2011 is happy, healthy and prosperous (is that possible in this current financial climate?) year ahead.
Re: Mr Rowlands - none of us actually believed him, did we? We thought him at best an optimistic fool, and at worst a Huma plant....

Before making any decisions about this new offer by the Huma Group bankers have a look at this Spanish property web site
casas trovit and search for Fontana Algorfa-or you can just do a Google search for Fontana Apartments Algorfa
The apartments are on offer at 65.000 €
So one price for the English and another for the Spanish
And ACC and OTCC buyers have to give up our ‘buying rights’ and essentially forfeit any deposit paid
If the banks supporting Huma Group really want to try to sort out this mess then it is about time that they accepted their responsibilities and were open and realistic about any alternative offers
Might be some takers then
