New gym

Hi Jan,

Age is just a number., and I don't believe you need lots of help. Exercise can be fun, honest, I must admit I love it, and it makes you feel young.

Are you coming out for Easter? or are we going to miss you  again.

Simon is fine working hard, earning lots of pennies for me to spend while in Spain.

However my son Daniel & his lovely ( Hope I can buy a hat soon ) girlfriend

Rachel will be over from the 2nd to the 5th.

This will be the first time Dan has viited Condado, so I think it`s a trial  run

to see f they like it before booking for a longer stay.

They are not hiring a car so will be on Condado for the whole time.

As they are both fitnes minded.. Dan goes to the gym 3/4 times a week & has recently started to play golf & Rachel runs ( cross country I think )  weekly ,I dont think the walk to the Foro will be much trouble for them

Hi Jan,

Yes we have most of the year booked,  4th to 14th April,  14th to 31st July and the 9th to 16th October, I think, just got to book New Year now just waiting for the flights to come out.  Yes Si and I both enjoy the gym but will not be going everyday, we are on holiday and that means relaxation and we also have the pools and our bikes for exercising. I was the one who got Si started, cause when we met I was training to become a fitness instructor and Si was somewhat portly when we met, but as usual this women changed him for the better. Ran the sports relief mile yesterday with my 8 year old daughter, but thats the only running I will do, kills my knees, have various old sports related injuries which curtails my gym activities.

Good on you for doing the sports relief run

I thought about it as a mile wouldt  be ok for me but I was advised by my GP nott o do it because of my knees

However I spoke to a lady from our estate this afternoon & she did it, even though she walked most of it.

I have said I will do it wih her next year as she went alone this time

My missus told me she enjoys the gym, but it is getting to be hard work so I treated her to some of that liposuction for her birthday. She was thrilled to bits. When she came back she stripped off and asked "what do you think?" I said " did they have the machine set on blow!"

Hi Ali,

You are right, it was only a bit of light hearted fun. My wife Yvonne has got all the curves in the right places, it is me who is the lardy. She never goes on the forum that is why I can sometimes poke a bit of fun without getting my head kicked in.

I have been Down to the gym myself and its pretty efficient but id also say €36 is pretty decent consdiering you pay between 30 to 50 british pounds back in england, Id say that is very good and will help with the development of Condado in General.

What is the gym like, I've seen the pictures of the bikes etc, are there any free weights or is it all machines, anyone had a good workout

 How much do they charge to use the gym per day and per week please? Geoff

I believe its 20 euros for a weekly pass per person
