In 2007 for Condado demand was outstripping supply, I came over that easter and went to Polaris head office, absoulutely packed, people were reserving all the time, we got a list of available properties and that was changing as we stood there. 2008 things started going down hill, when people who had reserved and wanted to flip and make money unfortunately came unstuck. Also alot of people didnt complete due to losing there jobs etc. When Condado was first advertised the prices of the apartments where priced at 118000 euros, but they were so popular they started putting up the prices, supply and demand. I am still so glad I bought on Condado, had and hopefully will continue to have great holidays etc in Spain, which you cannot put a price on.

why are people comparing 2007 to now, always saying making a loss, negative equity etc, these are only an issue if you have had to sell, some of us where not swept up in a frenzy but wanted to buy at a price that was normal then, and because we hought off plan were able to pick where we wanted. and also managed to get exchange rates of 1.48 to 1.52, then factor in that we have had 7 years of great holidays. Also with the mortgage deals can you still get a mortgage with a rate of 1.1% above the euribor, and first 2 years intrest only, so not all bad.

We always come out over October half term, last year, i'm sure all the bars etc were open, the temp is always lovely and warm, mid to high twenties, but you can get some rain, but on the whole a lovely time to visit.

thats exactly what I was told, when I phoned Sabadell last week, they said they would have written to me if they needed the info, if people think you pay your bank each year to renew your non residence info, just phone your bank, easy.
