Barry,
Looking at you photo of the lake, this is another aspect of Condado that is just not up to scratch for a percieved top course. Even when the off-faiway areas are improved, when these lakes drop to such low levels it gives the course a right scruffy appearance. Surely, in the JN design master plan, they must have thought about how the water levels were to be kept reasonably high with infusion of re-cycled waste water given the low annual rainfall throughout the region. When I have been to La Manga before and La Torre in mid-summer & autumn the lakes are still at a reasonably high level. What are we doing wrong here. Any thoughts from those in the know ??

Now the new water meters are fitted perhaps the lakes may be filled. Before Olagolf purchased water from Polaris and had no way of knowing if they actually received what they ordered. Perhaps having a measure may improve the situation.

Interesting to hear Olagolf pushing the 10-15 membership option. Seems an act of desperation to get some cash in.
Considering what happened to Polaris, the lack of progress on a clubhouse, and the fact the course still needs work, how they expect CdA people to sign up for that kind of membership bewilders me.
As well as offering full time packages to residents they should be trying to encourage the non-resident group to play more when they are over. Otherwise people will travel to other courses which will be a big shame as the course is first class.

does anybody have any info on junior tournaments or if there is any one over between 6th april till 15th who would like a game,my son has handicap of 23 and is junior captain of our local club,so if any one would like a game or if there is any tournament on these dates he would like a game,ps he is 15 year old,any info would be appreciated.

The golf society welcome anyone.with a handicap. Your son can play in our comps subject to paying annual membership of 5 euros. He will have the choice to play in the comp off yellows (entry 2e), or if not in comp he can play off juniors tees.
April 8th is a 3 man team but we will arrange partners. April 15th (if you have a late flight) is individual stableford.
We also usually play informally on Mondays when society rates also apply.
