A Happy New Year to you & all at the CdA Golf Society. Next out over Easter, so looking forward to meeting up with you all again
Couldn't help noticing in a picture on the ML Weekly circular that the water level on the lakes seems to be up right now.......including the lake on the 13th that had previously been empied due to damaged pipework or similar. Could you confirm if the repairs to the lake on the 13th have now been undertaken & the lake has returned to former glory, or was it just a bad picture or my poor eye-sight..!! How about the lake on the 5th - is that still low, or is that up to..?

As you didn't reply to my earlier question as yet......what was the response from Global Golf as you "expressed disapointment" at the condtion of the course - particulalry the lakes...? Do they have a plan to fix the problem(s)

I am not going to be over for the AGM, but can i possibly put forward a suggestion that the "Paul Harrington Scratch Cup" is over 36 holes ( either 36 in 1 day, or split over 2 days i ) and not teh current 18 hole format. This is the only event of the year that the good golfers will get to play a stroke play game.

There has been a change of entertainment for this presentation evening, the Bee Gees, have refused to do it, their agent originally accepted the booking and now the group will not do it. We have been telephoning and emailing them for over 1 week trying to resolve the problem they said existed, we do not know what the problem is. We have now booked another group called G & T.
The cost of the evening is 12 euros per person, we are now looking to collect this, You can pay in the clover on Wednesday evening or Friday at the presentation, could you please pass this information on to your friends who will be attending. If you decide that you don't want to go now could you please let us know so we can free up the places we only have 5 places still available.
We are sorry for the change but its out of our control.
