Hi all

Things seem to be going well with the TV coverage plan and I have already sent a good few details on to Julia. If anyone would prefer to e mail her direct, rather than pass their details to me, she is happy for people to contact her on the following address:
julia.berg@qsmedia.tv

Please state as much detail as you can, whilst keeping it brief too. She has promised to get back to everyone herself, but has said it may take a few weeks, so don't worry if you don't hear back straight away.

Regards
Linda

Hi Tez mayne ,and all involved.
Just had reply from Julia from  BBC,she seems very nice. At  the momment she is doing a programme which finishes soon.
She said when this has finished she is going to do some research on what is happening with ACC, so it sounds very promising .
I cant wait to tell her of how we have been ripped of by Villaquest and Focus Real Estate,.Yes I will mention a few more names, after all we have kept to our side of the contract but they have broken theirs  twice,I think we have  been more then patient ,with all their lies.
We should have had a B/G by law when we paid our £35,000 but no one was interested ,including the solicitor recommended by Focus,They were all in it  together, worse than scammers, knowing there were problems and still took our hard earned money which I for one can't afford to loose.Yes I am at boiling piont and can't take much more .

Regards

Trudy

Hi Trudy,
Interesting about Focus and Villaquest.

We were told by Focus that Villaquest showed prospective customers around ACC on behalf of Focus, but they were not the Agent or connected to them, as Villaquest already sold properties to their own clients on ACC.

We didn't buy there in the end, hence that lack of postings. However, we did find the Villaquest man to be very helpful and informative.

Did you buy through Focus or did you go to Villaquest direct?

Alf

Hi all, It's been a little while since I've looked at this website however I thought I'd share my good news with you, I dont wish to rub salt in the wound you understand. I've had an email from my solicitor saying that he has now executed my BG and recovered both my stage payments so hopefully I will get the bulk of my money returned soon, no 3005 E deposit though (or interest).
Also, and this may be more interesting to you, i have had a call from Watchdog and they are interested in running a story on xxxxxxxxx She asked me not to say as they are investigating secretively! She is trying to contact people using PM's via the ACC website.
If anyone wants to conatct me via PM I will give you her email details.
Regards
Frank

Hi alpine
Yes I agree its quite confusing ,we don't know who ripped us off .But they both knew their was problems with the planning ,and carried on building our hopes by showing us where our plot was ,choosing tiles,  worktops, etc ,so it doesn't really matter who sold us it they all work for Huma, and in my eyes they are as bad as Huma for still selling and telling so many lies, and most of all not wanting to know and help when  all went pear shape. They couldn't do enough for us when taking our hard earned money ,but they have their commision ,so they don't need to worry so i am very angry at everyone involved.
You had a lucky escape with not buying good for you. Hopefuly this mess will get sorted. soon and we get back what is rightfully ours after all this wasn't our fault it all went wrong.
We have got an appointment with a solicitor in Uk now to get a second oppinion fingers crossed.

That's an important  key point you make trudge. ''It wasn't our fault ....'' .

We were all the innocent buyers that parted willingly with our money to people we thought were experts in their respective  fields of selling OFF-PLAN property and trustworthy !.... Not so eh ?

Who do I blame? The goverment / Junta and co.
Why ? because the developer had started the building construction even tho maybe illegally, rightly or wrongly and should have been allowed to complete the phase in order to protect those purchasers.

THEN,  'they' in authority retro fixed  / correct the problems with the planning permission. Even place heavy fines on the developer for breaking planning rules or the law,,,,,,,,whatever..

But they didn't,  -  wrong decision in my view. They, via court action, closed the site.

As with many sites they closed, (just look around Vera) why not finish what had been started and contractually sold / purchased.....

All political I guess......
Too late now ........

Personally I think the biggest culprits were the solicitors and agents who didn't tell us HUMA didn't have planning permission.

HUMA are the biggest culprits!

HUMA is the company that decided to build an illegal development!

HUMA is the company that decided to sell this development before obtaining ALL  the permits were granted!

HUMA is the company that decided that the BG's would nt be honoured & made buyers take them to court, & even when they lost still don't pay out.

The others involved (lawyers & agents), yes, are culpable but NOT as responsible as HUMA!

Maybe - but I paid my solicitor to act for me and not HUMA  - I feel therefore they should have honoured my contract with them.  Also they are professional people who you should be able to trust.  HUMA just acted in their own interests whlst my solicitor should have acted on my behalf and not HUMAs.

Thats right there all to blame .
Correct me if i'm wrong but it seems to me thats why we didnt get our B/G, because the banks knew that there was something wrong and wouldn't give any more out . The solicitor was paid to do a job, that was to check planning permission was in place, which he said it  was, so did he do his job ? or lie and  din't check at all ,and the agents reccommended him ,so in my eyes they are all involved .I can't ignore the fact that they cant just sell you a property and walk away thinking their not involved ,they all took our money and dream and all we are left with is one big worry ,the least they could of done is to help or even seem interested.

Thats because it was one big cover up from the start.   How is that the lawyers didnt know.   Was it because they were just stupid or was it becasue they acted on behald of HUMA and Parador.   Just take a look at the last parador magazine and you will see a large full page advert by Aldea.   i said this before and I'll say it again.

Someone somwhere knows and knew all along.  Someone was greasing the wheel, and all the little snouts were in the trough, just hoping that all would be ok and the licence would be issued.....And Is wasnt.

Les
