Question for you, so are you saying your solicitor is taking 18%, ie if you win 100K solicitor get 18 and you 82??

Philmel, the damage has been done, Spanish property market wont recover for years due to the banks, governemnt and legal system, all of which are corrupt, incompetant or crooks. I'll never buy in Spain, the experience has been a nightmare, good riddance to them all!!!!

Trudge, that is shocking, it does nothing to help restore any faith in the Spanish legal system, I'm sure you'll get your money returned eventually but it is a disgrace that the judge is allowing this to drag on so long. best of luck.

Hi Gazza, you say you have recieved your deposit back so does that mean you are fighting for your legal costs, interest and initial deposit of 3005E?? I'm interested as I have received my deposit but never recieved anything else so am about 12,000E out of pocket. Feel free to PM me if you want to.
