Hi All - moving to Alicante or Malaga areas

thinking of moving over summer to Spain, not sure which area to go for, would like English area, we will be renting for first 12 months and have a 12 year old Labrador,also two kids to put in school, English schools, so we expect to have to pay for that?

Will be working in the middle east, so any info on Spainish taxes will be helpfull!!

Lots to go at sorry, but we have to move quick or we may not do it!!!

Anyone looking to rent near schools get in touch please!

Help!!!!!

If you want somewhere English you could try the Manilva/Duquesa area.  It is close to some very good private schools such as Sotogrande and there's a couple of good British schools in Estepona and Marbella.  You will have to pay for British schools.

You won't have a problem renting something decent in a decent location.  There'sa literally thousands of properties to choose from.

Thanks, yes the area around there looks nice and will check out the schools

Perhaps somewhere within easier reach of Malaga airport would suit you better? Torremolinos, Benalmádena & Fuengirola are all on the train line from the airport, and also have large and established ex-pat populations. Remember also that the AVE high speed train from Malaga gets you to Madrid in about 2 hours, from where I imagine there are regular flights to the Mid. East.
