Hi all.
I have been a member for nearly six months now. I have enjoyed reading all your input. I hope to move over later this year. There is so many of you that I would like to meet and "pick your brains". I would have loved to to the 2 meet ups in Duquesa and Cabopino, I would have been the silent one just taking it all in, with a big smile on my face. I am no good at putting down words, as you can see. By the way I am a she. Have a nice weekend everyone.

I'm Irish but I'm not in Spain yet.  I am in the process of buying in the Orihuela Costa area and I'm told that it is full of Irish (Dubliners mainly).  It will be like going to Courtown.

Hi freddie,

There are quite a few Irish lads and lassies about. I'm from Cork myself and am 2 months away (hopefully) from completing on an apartment in Formetera which is very close to Orihuela. There are a few Irish buying there and there is an Irish pub going there too   I too would be more of a reader than a writer and find the advice given here to be top notch. Enjoy

Mike

Hi Freddie,

I'm Irish . I've been living in Spain since January 2005, and I now live on the Costa Almería.

Hey Les,

Sure you're only a stone-throw away from me. If you would regard a Geata Ban man as being a neighbour

The only Geata Bán I have heard of is in Kilkenny where they play hurling.
