Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to change the size of everything on my screen? It is all too big and nothing on the screen fits correctly. It happened once before when my little girl was pressing buttons and I eventually sorted it out but I cannot remember how? Is there a way to get to my screen settings and put them back to normal?

Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for being a computer dunce!

Hiya, from one computer dunce to another, this happened to me a few weeks ago, only in reverse and everything on my screen was micro-small. It turns out I'd inadvertently clicked on the bottom right hand corner of my screen where it normally says 100% and re-sized it to 50% - hopefully yours is nothing more complicated than that.

Hope you get it sorted soon,

Jacqui

Assuming we are talking Windows XP here, and also assuming it is just the screen resolution that has been inadvertently changed, do this...

Right click on the Desktop, left click Properties and then click on the last Tab on the right....Settings

Slide the Screen Resolution slider control up to at least 1024 x 768 (or even higher if on a wide flat screen).

If it's Vista I recall that when you right click on the Desktop area you choose Personalization, then Display Settings, then Resolution in order to make the change.
