Legal age for entry to nightclubs in Spain and Mallorca

Hi,
Can anyone tell me please if there is a minimum legal age for people to get into nightclubs in Mallorca, or is it up to the owners? Also what is the legal age youngsters can drink alcohol? 16 or 18 when out in licensed premises and from the supermarket? This always seems to have been a grey area in Spain. Or maybe my grey matter just hasn´t been working properly??

In Andalucia: 18 for buying alcohol and 16 for discos.
The owner can request the regional government to allow him to restrict entrance to teenagers between 16 adn 18.
