Hi Martin,

You may get lucky on Sky installations, seeing as the Sky channels on the digi boxes have been removed.
There may be quite a few disgruntled customers switching to a dish.

Good luck,

However Martin, after I posted that, another member PM'd me and said the Sky channels were back on the digi boxes now.

I returned from Spain last Friday and my Daughter came back yesterday and we didn't have the Sky channels.........so this needs confirming.

Anyones out there know if the Sky channels are back on in Costa Blanca - via Cina/Nortons????

Hi,

On the microwave redistribution system some of the Sky subscription channels are back - of course this depends on who your supplier is, i think there are at least 2 or 3 main suppliers of these signals, and one of them is nicking sky sports from the other supplier!!

Sky channels in a Sky digibox via satellite are still available - and their reception really depends on two things - the sub you pay, and the size of your dish.

keighty : i replied to your post in the TV section, but it does really depend on where you are going - here on the costas there are many established installers already and you may find it tricky to get business as a lot of work is via recommendations. i know the north of spain is looking for sky installers, but the briexpat community is not as bog as on the costas.
