Caravan registration & Insurance

Hi, can anybody advise us, has anybody registered a UK caravan in Spain (i.e. with a Spanish Number plate). On the other hand if we were to have it put onto a site could we still get insurance if it was not registered in Spain, does the problem occur when you want to tow the caravan. do you know of any good caravan insurance companies that would do this. Thanks Gill

Hi fluffbag, I realise you're desperate for info & want anything.
These insurers in Spain are English spoken (or English themselves). We've dealt with each for our Spanish buildings & contents insurance. They all sell motor insurance but I have no idea if they sell caravan insurance.
Why not email each & ask for their advice ? At least hopefully then you'll know a bit more.
