Mail/post in Torrevieja

We moved to a house in Los Balcones in April but have received no post since we arrived. We are awaiting our EU voting forms amongst other things but nothing so far. Does anyone have any idea why this could be? Our address is accurate and we have the required post box but nothing. Thanks.

Have you tried enquiring at Correos? I know nothing about Torrevieja but lots of towns have problems with post delivery. There is a need to keep them on their toes.

We found that the best option is to rent a postbox at the nearest post office. They even send us a text message if anything "interesting" arrives, such as a package or govt-looking envelope. Visiting and collecting your mail, over time you establish a friendly relationship with the post office workers and they tend to be very helpful in other areas. 

Thanks for your replies. We have tried correos but despite us taking Spanish lessons, we aren't advanced enough to communicate yet. We are looking at the post box route but doesn't solve our immediate problem. Im thinking if I turn up in person with my address I may get somewhere?
