Does anyone know a company that covers you for the above??
We have breakdown cover through our car warranty with the RAC and our insurance company covers us for travelling abroad but non of these cover what seems to be a grey area where by if your car is stolen or written off they will not provide a replacement vehicle for the rest of the trip (only a few days)
They will give hire cars for a couple of days if your vehicle is being repaired and hotel accommodation etc etc but not another vehicle if ours is simple unusable for any reason, they will also get you to your destination and have your vehicle delivered when repaired but again this is of no use if the vehicle is stolen as we are doing a bit of a tour which includes 10 stops and moving on after a few days so the car is required constantly.
