Jet2.com seat allocation

Hi

I wonder if anyone else has had the same 'problem' with Jet2. As it about 4 weeks till my flight I tried booking in on line for my partner and myself. When they allocated the seats one of us was in a the middle of a row of 3 and the other 2 rows away, The seats either side of the one in the middle were available but when I tried to book them there was the £8.00 charge. I have tried several times and every time we were seperated. However on the other flight on the same booking we were given adjacent seats. Another interesting thing with this flight is when I look for available seats the non reserved ones started off at only 26 available and now there are over 50. Whats going on at Jet2?

This happened to my brother and his wife. Although there were lots of empty seats they had to pay to get seats together.

 just another scam to get more money off you. I'd take the seats apart, since it's just a short hop...2 fingers to them !

I see Jet 2 have got a pretty big check in area at St. Javier
