Can anyone recommend an optician with reasonable prices? I live in the Manilva area and one optician quoted me over €500. I have had bad experiences in both Spain and the UK with Specsavers spectacles so not interested in theirs. Hope someone can help??

Optica Machin - opposite McDonalds on the Carrefour road in Estepona - are good. Reasonable and professional and English speaking if required.

If you already have a perscription or can just get an eye test you should think about buying online, I did and have never go back to the High Street. I used glasses2you, they shipped me a selection of frames to try on and then once I selected the sytle they made up the perscription, in my case quite a complex varifocal and I spent €270 on 2 pairs, saving me more than €400 pn the prices quoted locally
They supply with a money back guarntee so really wasn't any risk involved and I saved a fortune
