Hi, I have a volvo V70 and have been trying to find a supplier of replacement radiators but without success.

I live on the Costa del sol but am not concerened where in spain the supplier is as I hope delivery can be arranged.

Does anyone know of a supplier other than a main dealer. Thanks Jack.

Hi GWM, thanks for that but a used rad may not be any better than the one on my car. I need to buy new one. Cheers Jack.

Try  the costa del sol guide, google it, they have a Volvo dealer listed in marbella. Or in one of the freebie papers, either, Euro weekly, Sur in English I have seen an advert in the car column for a company that will source and deliver car parts from the uk. There must be a main Volvo dealer in Malaga. If its leaking try a cracking an egg into the radiator, I'm not joking..it works !!

All car parts are very dear in Spain for some unknown reason. You will be able to order a radiator from most motor factors shops in your area. Our nearest one in San Javier is excellent, always get the right parts in and quality parts, but like I said before, very expensive.

Hi Guys thank you all very much for the very helpful info. I have found a new rad for over €230 whereas on Ebay uk I can get one delivered to my door from the uk for an all in price of £105.00. Competitive pricing seems something the spanish don`t go in for. Thanks again Jack.

We often have success with the breaker's yard at Padul, just south of Granada.  As you drive up from Motril you can see it fro the motorway, on your right.  You have to get off the motorway and do all sorts of manoeuvres to reach it, but worth the effort.   They are very helpful, know their stock and are not too expensive...we paid 40 euros for 2 lhd Ford headlights two years ago...but I don't know their name!  There are others near Granada airport too.  Good luck!
