We went in May. It was so easy and well run there are no problems that I could think of.

Hi Tricia

Fantastically smooth and efficient service when all is running as it should, just look for the signs on your approach, get in the correct lane for cars and que up to the ticket barrier, after the check in barrier you go through both sets of immgration (English and French) this leaves you clear to get straight on the road the other side without more checks. When you are through proceed to the terminal building where you can shop and use the loo before you are called to board, you are marshalled from the terminal to the trains.

They ask for the credit card you booked with, I think it is quicker for booking in. Also if you have any Tesco vouchers, you can swap them for three times face value towards the cost of a ticket. We paid all but a £1 that way. Look at Tesco site on how to exchange clubcard vouchers. Have a great time. Kevin

We got there an hour before and ended up on an earlier train. We were in France on the road 45 minutes earlier than planned.

Check in time is 25 minutes before departure, we too were able to board an earlier and train if this is an option if shows on the screen when you do the self service check in. It is all very easy. Have a good trip.

Yes, the Tunnel is so easy and relaxing. There is such calmness around and even when the train is moving you are not aware of this.Just remember to drive on the other side when you exit!
