Does anyone know when Ryanair will release dates for Summer 2012 flights?

I am looking for flights into Murcia from East Midlands/Leeds Bradford. I guess they won't be flying over the winter but presume they will start these routes again sometime around Easter 2012? I need to decide whether to book flights with someone else now, or wait for hopefully lower Ryanair charges.

I usually book around Sept/Oct for Summer flights, that's to Alicante but would think it would be around that time from/to most airports.

We often malign Ryanair- me included even though they are the cheapest airline.

Today we had such a HAPPY EXPERIENCE with RYANAIR. We were booking flights for a Spanish friend and made the mistake of usng only her last name. Now as all Spanish have both the names of their parents we should have included both names but we did not. All booked - major error. Change of name?£100x2= £200. (For a different person) Cheaper to rebook.

I was sure that someone had written on EOS that they got a change to the name by phoning. We sat for 20 minutes on the line but it was well worthwhile. A very polite member of staff changed it in moments for £20! Phew!  Such a relief!

Not sure I am waiting as well for flight to book for May from Luton to Murcia I think they release about 6mths October time prob but there are never any guarentees with Ryanair!! I was for ever hoping they would fly through the winter this year and it was only a blip last year due to tourism in Murcia region.

Please post anyone if you see the date released as other than checking every day you never know

Hi,

Not sure if there will be any flights into Murcia next summer as hopefully the new Corvera airport MIGHT be open then and the airlines could be flying there instead of Murcia, we will have to  wait and see, but it is a consideration you have to bear in mind. October is normally the time of release for summer flightsthe following year.

Corvera to open for the summer I have my doubts!!

But for those of us us that are only a few mins from san Javier airport will be a real shame if they stop the flights!!!!

I have been told that the airport is nearly ready for the first test flights, so who knows what will happen, it is Spain and a very unpreditable country.

Watch this space, thats all we can do. Murcia, Corvera, Alicante anyone will do us., we're not bothered.

Hi Janie,

Why is it that people think that you have to live in a counrty to know anything about it? We have numerous friends that live in Spain and my hubby has clients that he deals with who all say the same, unpredictablity being a Spainish downfall. Why so aggressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what I said if you have not experienced life here on what can you base a sensible opinion, which was inncorect anyway.

Also the thread is about Ryan Air which is Irish not Spanish so someone else also choose their moment to chuck in an insult.

I have always thought that to comment on something you need to have experienced it not rely on hearsay

And how would you feel if someone popped up on here went right of thread and started criticising Bonnie Scotland

I wasn't critising it I was only stating what is true, the spanish are well known for saying one thing and doing another and thats what makes their country so endearing so please get off you high horse, its an airport were talking about here.

That is so not true, the fact is the English cant/wont learn Spanish so you have no idea what is going on. Result, you criticise as a means of defense. At least I have lived there and speak both languages fluently.

And unlike  your predictable Britain we dont send people off around the world on the whim of a dishonest meglomanic to shoot at people, that is not unpredictable, thank god

The thread is about Ryan air read it from the start  or even just the title if you cant be bothered. Your doing the Brit thing  'we know everything" bit,

Sorry to be like this but I know you wont agree but you as ever as Brits  you started the agro went off thread then accused me of your error. Thing is I do so dislike it when folk talk rubbish about that which they know nowt.

Nite nite

Well maybe the exprssion people in glass houses applies to you. If you hate us that much why are you on here? Why do English people not speak Spanish. Well believe it or not we travel to lots of different countries in the world on holiday. So it is not practical other than a few basic words to learn all these different languages. However, Spain is a tourist country and makes a significant income in having visitors. Maybe that is why so many Spanish speak English. Oh and before you have a go at me I speak English, French and Italian as well as some Spanish. Hope you continue to enjoy your sad life. Please go elsewhere janie 2003.

There you go again voicing an opinion based on nothing at all.

Spain is not a tourist country it just so happens a lot of people come here because  there are so many advantages that others dont have.

Again off thread its not about languages.

The Spanish speak English because it is the international business language,

Where do you get the sad life thing from its lovely here and we all enjoy life.

And please dont tell ME to go elsewhere this is a Spanish web site so perhaps it is you who should take your xenophobia elswhere.

Maybe that is why you go to lots of countries to insult people everywhere

Dont worry you wont hear from me again as you have given a wonderful demonstration of the saying there are non so deaf as those who will not hear.

Oh dear, what is it that makes adults behave like children?

My mum would have said, ´if you don´t behave I´ll bang your heads together!´

Be nice
