For those of you with only insurance policies in the hope of covering funeral expenses, please check your policy very carefully, I am a funeral director and I can inform everyone that £3000-00 would not cover all. costs if death took place outside the U.K. if one is considering repatriation. There are funeral plans available not connected to insurance companies that are better value for money
