Exchange rate

Hi everyone

Can someone please tell me the exchange rate for buying Euros out there at the moment? Thats against sterling.

The Post office was quoting 1.122euro to the £. at 5'oclock.

Bit of confusion I think. I was asking asking what the the Euro/ Sterling exchange rate was In Spain at the moment?

Base was .87 cent to the £stg. You would probably pay .89 or .895 to  buy Stg.

So how many Euros wil I get for one pound sterling in Spain? Sorry if I am being stupid but my husband is doing his very best to confuse me!!!

The Post office was quoting 1.122euro  for every £1 at 5'oclock.

So, you would get 561 euro's for £500
