I have also now received news from contacts in Spain. Their opinion is nothing has changed and everything is going ahead as per timescales. This is their response to my enquiry.
We are not aware off that TH is suffering with any current problems - the situation I have explained to you in February already.
Ground works are going as normal and comparing the other developments from different building companies (current or already finished) - there is no sign that TH or RD will be stopped.
As you know that - Spain is different than UK - here the builders always do the ground works i.e. electricity, sewers, road, water and other full infrastructure before physical construction of properties. No building company will spend all the money and effort doing ground works unless is sure that they can deliver.
The builder has promised you 32 months delivery time from signing the contract, he delivered the Bank Guarantee as promised
and things are going to meet the target.
They too have a vested interest in both developments, and are also in negotiations with GT frequently.
I feel better now, and should know better than to believe everything that is posted by scaremongers, as that is exactly what they are!
