Hi all,

has anyone heard anything from the infamous Grupo Trampolin recently regarding our development?  With the rows over legalities on Trampolin Hills, I for one am very worried?

We have not heard anything since January 08, and it is almost 12 months since we put our deposit and first stage payment down to Grupo Trampolin.  I'm sure many more have done it earlier that we did.

Please can anyone shed any light on this eerie quietness and let us know if they know anything.

Best Wishes

Chris

Hi All

This is my first post.  I visited the site 8th April and went inside all 4 show villas, very impressed with quality of build and finish.  I also went to Trampolin Hills office to ask questions but the young lady who met us seemed rather vague about time schedules etc.

I have just received the following email dated 3rd May 08.  The article was from the latest edition of Costa Blanca News:

Trouble for Trampolin in Campos del Rio.

The promotors of Trampolin Hills Resort suffered a serious setback this week as the regional government froze plans to construct the golf course and 2575 properties in Campos del Rio Murcia.

At present the company is not aloud to build at the site as the rural land has not been reclassified by the regional department for public works.

Regional government lawyers are invistigating whether the town hall proceeded properly in approving the scheme.

Public works had asked the Grupo Trampolin company to make alterations to the initial plan.  These alterations should have been approved in a full council meeting and then sent back to the regional dept.  However the full council meeting was never held and the plan was returned without full council approval.

PP councillor in Campos del Rio, Miguel Buendia, said he was not against the project but against the irregularities that had taken place.  He added  "We reported the case to the Regional Supreme Court in Murcia in May 2007 and it would make no sense voting for it now because it is still not legal.

Grupo Trampolin president Antonio Martinez said "The director of the planning dept told me all building plans are now being scrutinized by the department"

Senor Martinez met with officials from the Regional Dept for Public Works to find a solution.  He said "We will present a formal complaint to the Public Prosecutor of the Regional Supreme Court if no agreement is reached."

I do not know whether this applies to Royal Dream as well.  I have emailed my agent in Spain to see if he can clarify the situation.

Regards,

Dave and Di Risdale

These issues are distinct to the Trampolin Hills development, so don't have any direct bearing on Royal Dream. Assuming the developer follows the proper legal route for the planning stages then there is no reason why your development shouldn't go ahead.

However, if the developer does not get the go ahead to build Trampolin Hills, then this may obviously have serious financial consequences for the company as a whole - they would have to repay all deposits paid plus interest and lose the substantial investment they have made in marketing the development.

We've purchased on their original Lo Santiago development, which is physically all but complete, and many of the owners have their Escrituras, awaiting the Licence of First Occupation. Our development was done the 'wrong' way round - build first and apply for licences in parallel - but this hasn't stopped things proceeding.

It's unfortunate that they've tried to do things properly with Trampolin Hills but have fallen in to a political debate. Hopefully this will be resolved very soon, but knowing Spanish local government , this will take some time to sort out.

Good luck with your development.

Hasta luego.
