We have got the Certificated (Cedula) and now we are in our apt in Jardines, Block E where also the President lives. He is a good Guy and I think he is the only one who is permanently living and working there, I think was a good choice.
The first thing you got to do if you complete your purchase is:
1.Run to Altea La vella to pay 640 Euro for water, it will take lest than one day for you to have water if you Speak Spanish, maybe two if not.
2.Than, run to Iberdrola in Benidorm to sing for Electric service. This can take not more than 10 days. (you may need to speak some Spanish to get it done quickly)
3.If you want to have a Telefon service, call 1004 if you speak Spanish or let somebody who speak the language do it for you. Let me tell you that Telefonica is the only company serving Altea area, and some neighbors are waiting months to get the service. at this moment there are just two people with Telefon service in the building, and one of them it's me. let me tell you that it is better for you to ask for the service on the web if you don't speak Spanish, so you don't have to talk, just read think and write at you on peace. (remember...ask for the service as soon as possible because it can takes months and months)
4. If you want to get Internet service, Telefonica, Orange, etc. could be your provider in Altea Area, but Telefonica is offering wright now Telephone and internet service without contract this is what I got and the good thing is that if you don't use the phone you pay nothing, also good for people that are some time away from Altea a couple of months.
5. To open the Building gate you need a Remote Control Key, may be you will receive one from Ballester, if you need another one or many of them you have to go to the company, I forgot the name but you have to drive to Teulada, the name of the company is written on the Remote control key (the price is around 25 Euro)
