Hi, We have an apartment (touriste) at El Rincon and we are looking for a trustworthy agent to let the property out on our behalf and keyhold and clean, but it must be an arrangement where we can let them know if we have someone who wants to rent or if we wish to stay there ourselves. It is very hard from the Channel Islands to keep tabs on things so we would like to hand this responsibility to someone and obviously pay a percentage of the profits to them.
We have a villa elsewhere and when we first bought went with who we thought was trustworthy but found out that when we didn't have an official tenant in the place she was putting her friends and family in it and keeping money from them for herself. So please only tried and tested genuine agents. All info greatly received and we will get our lawyer to check on the company first.
We envy all of you who enjoyed mostly beautiful weather in January - we couldn'y get down but people renting our villa said it was gorgeous! Lucky lucky lucky!!
