Alexander Homes

Interested to see other people are having the same problems with Alexander Homes as myself.   They offered me a tenant for my Marina D'Or property in March 2006.   Ever since then I have been trying to get some rent and reimbusement of utility costs from them but it's always a case of "the cheque's in the post".  I was promised a rent of €400 per month (although I believe the tenant pays far more than this) with no deductions if the money was paid into a £ account.  Now they claim that there is 25% with-holding tax due.(if they could be persuaded to pay up).  I have recently instituted a claim against Alexander Homes through the County Court and have been told by the court that judgment will be made against AH as they have not responded by the deadline.  It was therefore useful to know that the company has now changed it's name to Anderson Reed (same address I see and still the same useless employees no doubt)

Sorry to hear about your troubles with Alexander Homes.  They let my property in the UK and am now outstanding three months rent - I have now terminated the letting agreement.

We are also looking to take them to County Court and we have also been advised by a local solicitors to go the police - we have the name of a DC if you want it.

The solicitor also advised contacting the local paper - the Bedfordshire on Sunday - which I have already done.  I strongly suggest that perhaps you should do the same as it will make people realise that something is going on, which should be investigated and put a stop too.

I do not want people being fooled by this change of name to Anderson Reed......

Has anyone else had any dealings with MacAnthony Realty International.

 

I have had exactly the same problems with them, and they have refused to accept any responsibility. It seems that this kind of thing is common practice among the low-life companies that prey on decent hard-working people.
