Good news all

I have just received an envelope from my solicitor with: voucher for picking up keys, insurance policy documents (it seems MASA give you the first year free) and a licencia de primera ocupacion.

I emailed my solicitor to ask if this was the application for the hab cert and he assures me it is the actual hab cert.

Maybe they get issued at the time of completion

I have contacted our Spanish solicitor awaiting a reply re habitation cert as all we have looks like the application

We also added a thread as when doing the business through Atlas we went to insure at their guidance etc and have this done legit with all the cert and documents paid for and sent to us through Mapfre.

When we signed it seems if the purchase of property was after 2005 then MASA are  giving a gift of insurance but as we were back in the UK have had one phone call in regard telling us they will contact again to arrange for us to see them,

Here we are nearly 2 months later nothing and no documents even in Spanish explining the insurance.

Please bear in mind when coming to sign and if offered your gift ensure it si clear.

I can confirm that, for the inspection that we carried our yesterday on an OPEN on this site, I cjecked and was showm a valid Certificate of Habitation issued which was certified by the Town Hall

The property was connected to the offical utilitues with meters fitted
