For those in Malaga and the CDS

Hi everybody,

I am due to get the keys on phase 3 this week.  I know there have been previous posts on extra locks for patio doors and bedroom windows.  I have tried to find this information, but threads before 3/9/07 are harder to find beacuse they are not in title order.  I know someone said they could PM details of the locks they had installed and pictures.  Also where can I get them from.  Any information is really appreciated as we all know we have a little security issue on site. 

Also is it easy to sort out gas/electric/water as I speak no spanish (although learning very slowly!).  Cannot wait to complete.  It has been a long time coming :)

You solicitor will do the water and elec. contracts at a fee of course, you may need to be in on the day the elec. is turned on because they normally need to fit the main breaker - half hour or so.

If you do it yourself I don't know but.....

Endesa the elec. co. have an English speaking telephone service, but for water you would have to go into the Agua office in the main street of Manilva, I have seen people getting their contract done there. The speak some English.

Suggest you write a note in English saying what you need and translate using Google or Babelfish and print off and take in.
