Accommodation near Sierra Golf

To be near SG and see the local attractions try looking around the Mar Menor area.  It's very booked up in July as the Spanish spend the whole of July and August at these beach locations.  Some of the areas around there include Los Alcazares, San Javier, Santiago la Ribera and \Lo Pagan, San Pedro Del Pinatar, all great places to be based.  I'm also biased in recommending the beaches of Pilar de la Horadada as lovely places to be based (cos that's where I am!), for these try Mil Palmeras, Torre de la Horadada and El Mojon.

I would think you'll get anywhere on the new golf courses too, as many people are desperate to rent as there are so many available.  Either way, you're not far from most things as SG is in a great location.  Good luck.

Following on from Attco who mentioned Mil Palmeras, I can also confirm this is beautiful place and surrounding areas lovely, I had a house there for over 6 years, only sold it to finance SG - big mistake. Anyway the hotel there is Palmera Beach, built by MASA and still owned by them. You canbook via the internet and they are very reasonable, we stay there all the time when we go over now since I sold my house.

If you want somewhere to stay while we wait for Masa to sort themselves out. I have an apartment on La Torre which is only a couple of miles away.

It is well worth sampling the area and when you see the Sierra golf buildings it will give you hope.
