Hi Alan & Mandy from Teynham in Kent, Does anyone know if a sky reciever can be used for free to view in Spain. According to Sky its illegal but could not tell me why, anyone know? We are due out to Spain June 20, renting untill we get the green light. We hope it won't be too long. It seems from reading all the messages it should be a gas, even with all the bad news everyone appears to be so possitive,

YES I THINK YOU CAN RECIEVE SKY FOR FREE IF YOU TAKE YOUR SKY BOX BUT DONT TELL THEM

BUT IF YOU GO TO MAIN MESSAGE BOARD AND GO TO  TV IN SPAIN THREAD  IT IS VERY INFORMATIVE

Hi

Noticed the other day that B&Q are now selling a DIY Freeview dish and presumably a receiver (didn't look too closely at the contents of trhe box, as I was not looking to buy) but  (and sorry if , to a technophobe, this is a  stupid question) would this work in Spain? Might be difficult to carry in the hand luggage!

Hi John T its Alan, it would be daft as hand luggage but were traveling by road, we didnt want the dog to fly as she can be nervous
