Directions to Manilva required

Hi All,

The latest info I have received today is "MASA have applied for certificates of habitation from Murcia Town Hall. This could take anything from a week to a month. During this time they will be completing the installation of water and electric and then tarmacing the pavements so that the keys can be given out as soon as the certificates are issued".

This was from the Sales Director of grupo MASA, a lady I use as my translator is a friend of his.

I do so hope this is right and true but I am still not convinced, too much happened and too many dates gone and past but I thought I'd pass on the infomation.

Lets all hope it's correct this time!!

Thank you very much for this information.

I have read that it can take up to six weeks to get a certificate of habitation, so, fingers crossed. Maybe people will be able to move in by the end of July.

Like you, I'm frightened of being disappointed again but you never know!

Sorry to be a pain and possibly the bearer of bad news, but visiting the site at the end of may 07, i dont think you have a cat in hells chance of being in by july, i hope i am wrong.

we visited with atlas and was told sept/oct when phasw one will be open, also the first 9 holes on the golf course will be ready at christmas. the second 9  a year later.

We all like to look on the positive side but Atlas are probably right with the first part, Sept/Oct, wrong on the second part. More chance of a heavy snow fall on Murcia city than the golf course ready for Christmas.

Will have to keep the clubs bagged up a bit longer

I HAVE JUST SPOKEN TO GRUPOMASA  CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT ( 0034-965142149 ) AND THE GIRL TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY INFORMATION THEY HAVE ON COMPLETION DATE IS  ---------------WAIT FOR IT ------------------------------WAS AFTER SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!

SO THAT LOOKS LIKE SEPT-OCT-NOV-DEC  SHOULD I GO ON?

We have an equadorian friend who has friends who work on SG & they reckon December.

I know it´s a "friend of a friend" thing, but in my experience I think December is probably nearer the mark.

So I suggest to all those people who are not going on holiday in hope of SG being completed before the summer is over - getaway !

Ive just booked to go over for a week in July staying in playa flamenca. Going to take a drive down so has anyone anything they want me to do while im there.

what a load of rubbish, ask them how the hell do they sell on sg, if they cannot take people to the show houses.

25/26th may 2007 i was on that site with atlas rep, trying to sell me one.

in fact on the 26th we went looked round a unfinished house  (naughty but nice)

We've e-mailed MASA twice asking questions - MASA Grupo are constructing the utilities and they will be ready 'soon' the construction is 'well advanced' and properties will be handed over soon as well

Does anyone think this year?
