Only advice is do plenty of research.

Owner is in Administration

Golf course is closed.

Check out debts on Community fees.

Is there a Community?

make sure you get a debt certificate.

Nice location but not everyone's cup of tea.

Forget Corvera airport for a while.

Otherwise nice location if you like countryside.

Sound advice - why would you purchase without doing research?

Yes, in administration (as are several other complexes) but no adverse effects as yet and will ultimately be for the best.

Course is closed, plenty of others around if that is your thing.

Debts, again sound advice.

Location not to everyone's taste, but Corvera town very close by with all services you could need, some other complexes may offer more in some ways, but are much more isolated.

Agree about airport, it may open eventually, but not holding breath.

Like I say to anyone looking at Corvera, come visit, speak to those that are around and get a feel for the place.

Yes I'm slightly biased as we have an apartment there which we bought around 18 months ago, we are more than happy with our purchase.

Overriding rule is to check everything out and ensure you are happy with all aspects of the place.

Good luck.

Vip Supporter

Other key facts to consider and qualify

Why are you buying, if for rental inclome then Corvera is a very difficult sell to rental clients so don't make any decison where you need to rely on income from rentals to pay the bills, if rental income is key terevare better options at similar prices

Check all of the costs, what is the level of community, entity and local rates, these vary dramatically on Corvera depending on which phase you purchase

Remember the withholding tax liability on any property that you purchase, at what is below the value set by the local Town Hall, remember that they may come back for the additional tax, at a rate on 8% in Murcia for what they see as being the value compared to what you originally paid

This is a lovely country location and eventually given the openning of the airport, could be an opportunity, read other forums about the latest airport news reagarding the tender to open the airport

Location wise 45 minutes from the Old airport and 5 minutes from the new airport. No golf course as it has become a small jungle. It will cost 110- 120 minimum for a month (Management fees, Gas, water and electricity). People do rent these apartments for 300-400 Euros per month. Corvera Town is very near (2 min drive) and  can buy everything from Fish to banking services. School, Gym, Pub, Restaurents and etc.

Much of the value is depending on the openning of the airport. As it has openned it tenders for operations, it will be openned in next 2 years, in guess.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread. We visited Corvera recently (2 bed Bank repo ) and much to our surprise we were quite taken with the place. We normally rent in Mar Menor Golf Resort but won't buy there as we would have to rent out to cover the mortgage. We looked at CdA, HDA, las Terrazas, la Torre and Roda. Corvera, despite the lack of facilities seems bang on the buck as a 'lock up and leave' holiday home. Any words of advice from purchasers ( particularly recent ones ) woukd be greatly appreciated, P😉

We have inspected Corvera Golf ourselves, now 2 weeks ago.

Appartments of very good quality and nice priced, this

because of the closed facilities. So you can sleep and enjoy

the surrounding desserts of Murcia area

Friendly people, some potential with the new airport, opening

01/2019 and the future possibility of a new golfowner.

Community will receice aprox 3 mio this year from repo

banks, so solvable for works etc.

Bottom line:  if you do not like beaches, shops, etc ,

and you can handle a few neighours and high inland temperatures,

then this is the place to be.
