MARIA Brandys The municipality of Mazarrón has removed the company Mass developer status in Camposol, under the resolution adopted by the Board of Governors. The reason for this decision is "abandoning" this construction company has with the residents of this development located in
the municipality of Mazarrón and most of them foreigners, especially British.

The problems affecting the neighbors have to do with the absence of public lighting and water supply and also denounced the lack of sewage treatment, which poses a risk to the safety and wholesomeness.

That the City remove the developer license to a construction company is "an unprecedented event", said local government spokeswoman, Alicia Jiménez, after agreement by the Board as a matter of urgency.

Jiménez said that it "has been a difficult decision, but it is the only legal way" to which you can host the Consistory, speaking 'for reasons of safety and hygiene. "

Thus, the local government to recover the collateral to be able to meet the expenses resulting from the restoration of services and to carry out the works and actions needed to restore normality to the residents.

So can we get Polaris removed from developer status and get funds needed to carry out work ?

Question? as i do not know  but I know a man that does

Anyone out there like to explain if they had or are having any problems with sewrage.  Anyone  had a flooded apartment? I had to push gallons of water out of a couple last year. Any smells or blockage that the sludge gulper had to come out. How much have Condado spent on putting the sewers in order.

See Pictures of flooded roads during heavy rain . Polaris owe us for all that money spent. Is this not more of an issue than internet .

wooden fences that need constant repair, apartments with building problems. Polaris should pay for this . So why can't we get the money held by the council to cover all rrepair work needed.

I do not know what this warranty money is supposed to cover but i do not want polaris getting it back. We paid for this in our property purchase so the comunity should get it.

It certainly is something that should be looked into...but as Polaris hold level 1 president can the community via ML actually get advice on this??

Or does it have to be done personally??

Property repairs have to be dealt with by the Owner it is a private matter and not the responsibility of the Community or Administartor.

However a while back many people had leaking roofs and the admin compiled a list and offered a lawyer top pursue the builder for a fee cant remember how much think it was about 400€ out of the 300 owners who logged problems only 3 or 4 persued the Lawyer option.

Pressume the others are now fixing themselves.

Guess we must've been 1 of the 300 who reported a leaking roof terrace after the heavy storms in August last year.

However at no point have we been contacted by the administrators to see if we want to persue legal action....... wonder how many more of the other 299 weren't either?

Did you report it to Admin or PW? people i mention contacted the Administator they will not contact owners to say have you a leaking roof

Anyway i think that issue is now closed unless the few who pursued legal action are doing so, ML if contacted will now tell you its a Private issue.

Owners must realise the admin are employed by the community to manage the spending of the Budget and ensure that the maintenance and contract of maintenance companies are fullfilled

They have no responsibility for issues affecting properties only common areas. Likewise Presidents are only responsible for the Common areas and Budget. other areas such as Al Kasar, Sports Zone Jardin 6 as its called and Clubhouse are NOT part of the community NOT owned by the community and we have no control over these areas.

Hi

I have to agree with Daniels

As far as I am aware there has never been an issue re heath.

The flooding was  due to a natural occurence  heavy rainfall & even in the Uk you would have to fight long & hard to convince either a builder ( 10yr warrenty`s are not worth the paper they are written on) & insurers would also drag their feet., look at the areas that were flooded two years ago. Many home owners have still not recieved a penny

Campasol also had subsidance which was down to poor building but I think that  the health issue was dealt with first as it was a stronger case. as far as I am aware no subsidence has occured todate. i wonder how the homes fared during the earthquakes.

I have not read of any problems on Condado

As for the flooding re roof terraces & via stairs.

Carol Millar contacted Polaris on our behalf & the matter was resolved before our following visit.
