Hi all, for those of you who have not yet used the Iberdrola web site to view your bills, this is my attempt to guide you through it;

  1. You will need one of your bills to start this process. If you haven’t got a bill to hand you will need to go to the Iberdrola office / agent in Pilar de la Horadada; No. 101 Calle Mayor, Pilar de la Horadada, 03190. and get this information.
  2. Once you have this you need three bit of information from the bill, 1) your reference number (Referencia contrato). 2) Your NIE or passport number, this is the one you gave when you set up the direct debit. 3) the last three digits of your bank account *NOT THE WHOLE NUMBER*.
  3. Log onto the Iberdrola web site; www.iberdrola.com. Click on the English language page in the top right-hand corner. Click on customers in the green headings and then on online office. You have now got to the log-in page: - If you have not received this login information you will have to set up an e-billing account. This is done by clicking on the bottom section of the log-in area. (registro cliente  click; entrar). You might have to click on the English tab again. Then just follow the instructions.
  4. Once you have entered your user name and password, click entrar and your in. on the page that comes up click on “contratos”. On the page that comes up, click on “No contrato”. The next page will have all your account information, (at this point check your details, especially your postal address as ours war wrong), to get your bills click on Facturas in the top left-hand column. You have now accessed your bills. Click on the TV symbol of the bill you wish to view and it will appear as a pdf file so give it time to load. You can now print it or save it to a folder for your records. Do not forget to log out (DESCONECTAR) just below the top right-hand corner of the page.

I hope you can follow this and get your bills…

Hi Ian, sorry but I have no idea, but if they have given you a date then make sure you'r in because they will need access to your property. If you'r not available and have nobody to open up for them, then they will not be able to connect you and it will cost you for them to reschedule.

I was told that when R3 was connected there were several vans and a small army of Ibedrola staff connecting all the properties.

Good luck.

According to a resent e-mail from Iberdrola, it seems that its monopoly on the electricity market is about to change. From the 1st of July 09 you can sign up with an alternative supplier and rumour has it that Iberdrola intend to put up the price of the electricity by 5% every month for the next six months!  The same source recommends you go to the Iberdrola office in Pilar de la Horadada and freeze the price for 12 months.

Here is a Google translated copy of the e-mail;

Dear Customer:
As a result of the new rules from 1 July 2009 the electricity supply will be done by the electricity marketing companies. Since then, our company, as a distribution company owned by the networks in your area, continue to operate the facilities, reading meters and providing its 24h service breakdowns.
This means that you should switch supplier. This change, in no event, will neither cut nor supply an additional cost to you, presentándosele 3 choices:
You can hire a marketing company at a price freely agreed. To make available existing offerings, you can see the complete list of marketing companies available to CNE publishes on its website.
Alternatively, you can contract the supply of any of the following companies (which the government has designated as traders of last resort) whose contact details we provide below. Any of these companies will be obliged to provide electricity at a price fixed by the Government.
Customer Care Tel: Trading Company Website Address
   ENDESA ENERGY XXI, S. L. 902 50 88 50 www.endesaonline.com
   IBERDROLA OF LAST RESORT MARKETING, S. A. U. 901 20 20 20 www.iberdrola.es
   METRA UNION FENOSA, S.L. 901 220 380 www.unionfenosa.es
   ENERGY Hidrocantabrico last resort, S. A. U. 902 860 860 www.hcenergia.com
   E. ON COMERCIALIZADORA of last resort, S. L. 902 22 28 38 www.eon-espana.com
Finally, if management does not make the July 1 delivery will be automatically assumed by the company of last resort MARKETING IBERDROLA, SA, which will send invoices and charges for managing the power supply as set in RD 485/2009. In this case, we will transfer your data to the company to continue the service.
If in the process of changing supplier problems, you can call Customer IBERDROLA 901 20 20 20.
While waiting to provide the best service, receive a cordial greeting. Gestiones On Line
