Portable Air Con Unit Wanted

For those of you who are on Playa Golf III R3, the builders have announced that they are ready to connect to the mains supply by the end of the month.

Residents have been notified by the builders and by their agents that keys, key holders or owners should be available so that the builders can gain access for the switch over at the end of August.

We are urged to have this organised so that we do not have to pay extra to get connected at a later date.

Also, you should all be aware that a residents committee has been formed and we are on the way to establishing a fully functional urbanisation.

Hi Everyone on Playa golf III,

The connection from the builders supply to the mains should have been done by now.

Anyone had problems so far with power cuts or the power company not turning the power back on in the property after they had finished connecting?

The problems of the power not being turned back following the changeover could only be rectified if the person who had your key to let the builders and electricity company in checked the electricity !!  The builders did not turn the electric back on in all the properties, especially in the properties where it was obvious it was a keyholder.  It was up to the individual key holders to check that the electric was working before they locked the house back up.

As regards power cuts since that time, there have been a few but strangely seems to only affect certain properties at any one time.  Pretty similar to when we were on builders supply when you would only get a few houses on the street knocked off.  That should not really be the case now as we are off builders supply and all should run through the same connection !!!  Anyway, that's Spain I suppose.
