I am getting married next year so im selling up.

On a serious note, you cant transfer a contract and so its not yours to sell......which is a bummer eh!

Brian, I am very sure it is stated in my contract that it is transferable. Not that anyone would be daft enough to want it!

I would say that a contract, not likely to be honoured, and a property with a question mark on its completion, in our country wouldnt get past a solicitors desk......maybe in Spain tho......or you could use it in a hand of poker.

Naw......Jon, your going to struggle to have any title to a sale on it mate.

Only thing you can do is wait or sue......

Like many people, we have an unfinished house to sell - any offers?

Seriously, we are now looking at properties in Jumilla, either those that are completed, or are close to competition (they all have a roof on at least!).  One of the local estate agents showed us a nice 2 bedroom property on the edge of town,  but it was too small for us to live in permanently.  We are waiting to hear what the price is, and will post more details here when we find out, as it may suit somebody who likes the area and would like a holiday home here.  We think that it will be fairly cheap, as it's not central, and they know our budget is fairly low as you know who have a lot of our money still!

We should declare here that the senorita who works in the estate agent has offered us a bottle of vino tinto, but this was because we said we will help her with her English (which is actually very good), so I don't think that counts as a bribe.

GAL, I have sent you a PM, but unfortunately it is not an offer for the apartment you have been trying to sell!

Anyone interested in either of mine???  I have a broken contract on SADM and a more recently broken one on a property with a front door, roof and wires hanging from the ceiling with a KEY? honest its real.. Plot 35, Playa Golf II... They cant build me the one and cant afford to repay the existing loan on the other for me to buy it.. take your pick!!!  You couldnt make this up could you..

Hi auntie linda just a thought but instead of selling the apartment couldn't you consider  holiday lets (you have the keys  and  possession in nine tenths of the law and all that )  . I would pay you a 2 week rental especially if  the vino is 1.50 a bottle  and the " crach "  is as good in person as the posts you and sue give on here . Pure intertainment value not to mention the stress relief aspect  . PS I am a rossado girl  is that more expensive than 1.50  .

Just remember we have all  been asked to make do and mend during the credit crunch and this is certainly making do and mending or is it making ammends .You may even get a nobel peace prize for restoring international relations between  the UK and Spain .I say lets give it a go .Can I  have the first two weeks in February  please .  Look forward to meeting you guys in person .Cheers JA
