I posted below on the 14th August after a conversation with Gemma at Trampolin so if nothing else the story ties up. She is an english lady working for them and tried to assure me that it really was going to happen although many promises had passed. Perhaps it has.
"I spoke to Gemma at Trampolin earlier this week. Had been trying to get some update and she coffered to call me which she did.

She is saying that they will definitely start building in September. I question this, as there have been many promises as we all know. But she was resolute about it. She said that she realized that there had been a number of promises of bulding starting in 2 weeks, 3 weeks etc but it would definitely be Sepetember. Not sure how that stacks up with the Mayor issue bur she seemed pretty guenuine & did call me".

Guess the only real way to tell is if someone actually sees it themselves. Hopefully someone may be out there.

Fingers crossed.

Morning all,

I found the following.

The mayor of Rio de Campos and the developer are confident that the council can validate the project in October
The promoters of the controversial draft Trampolín Hills-which includes 2,700 houses, two hotels and a golf course-it seems they want to force the hand of the municipality of Campos del Rio, which still depends on the approval of the project. So much so that although the House already rejected giving the go-ahead to this urbanization, operators are already working in the houses. In fact they have never stopped, according to company sources, who required only that are taking place earthwork and what is known as "melt the slab, that is, flattening the ground for subsequent placement of the foundation.

The mayor of Rio de Campos, Miguel Navarro, said yesterday at La Verdad his hope that "once we have all reports, it is possible that, at the end of this month, approve the project. It may be recalled that in addition to several problems because of the guarantees of the company and complaints by purchasers of housing, construction of urbanization is essentially paralyzed by the challenge made by the opposition party, the PP, Mayor and another councilman, to understand that they had economic interests in the company. On this aspect, Navarro made no comment.

Moreover, he said the CEO of SL Trampolín, Juan Francisco Canales, "the mayor cree" which in October is the deadline two years since we had economic interests in the company. Thus, in theory, the project could succeed. However, Canales insisted that the company has always fiado in a legal report prepared by the municipal secretary, which argues that "the situation of the mayor was not to be disqualified" and in which, in addition, we conclude that disqualification should be submitted and rejected in a vote in plenary municipal levels.

Los obreros trabajan en casas de Trampolín Hills pese a que no se ha aprobado en el Pleno

Work. Operators prepare beams of the foundation, yesterday in Campos del Rio. / RAF French / AGM

For his part, chairman of Trampolín SL, Antonio Martínez, considered yesterday that the matter not be resolved until October or November "and said, again and as has always done, that" the only thing we want is to give the houses to people '.

The stoppage of the project this year has brought a multitude of complaints by buyers of houses, which have already invested part of their savings.

regards
Brian

Hi All,
I have just spoken on the phone to Martha at Trampolin Hills and she assured me that work has started on the Villas and that work will start on the apartment blocks at the end of October. She also said that there are new and, perhaps, better tiles etc to chose from, so we may have to design our apartment for the 3rd time. The person we have to speak to about that is Jane and she is away on holiday until the 15th of September. So it seems things may be happening again. Fingers crossed.
Regards to all
Bill

Hi all that news paper article looks interesting and seems quite good news I think, what we really need is someone who has been there very recently to see what changes if any have taken place, I was there in July and met the English girl there I think it was Gemma but there was no work being done and if any of you remember my post that I did when I returned she said that it was not worth the risk of continuing to work as the fines would cause more delays, which contradicts what the news paper says that building work has never stopped, I came across some photos on my pc the other day which I did not take showing several other bases with the steel reinforcement bars sticking out so assume one of you had taken them, as when I was there in July unusually they would not let me step past the carpark to check on any progress, as I think ogo has said these delays maybe a benifit as the climate is not good for completing on a property in Spain now or in the immediate future. I know a lot of you like me are very dissapointed and have not bothered to post on eye on spain lately, for me it was the depressing title of the last thread, but maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel, any one with new info please post I'm sure that though posts have been thin on the ground lately, many members will have been checking the site for any good news.

    Regards to all Evad

Dear all,

Just got back from Spain this morning and the weather was hot, hot, hot.

Visited Trampolin Hills and Royal Dreams on 3rd September and met a very nice chap called Angel.  He was extremely helpful and informative.
We witnessed cement mixers pouring the concrete for the foundations and erecting the shuttering on one of the Villas. It confirms what the news paper article said and we were given a copy of this in the office. We were also told that when we next visit Spain at Christmas time we will see major changes to the site and they should have started the fairways on the golf course. I have a couple pictures which I will post on Wednesday, also I have a copy of a more detailed plan of the golf couse and the layout of the holes.

Royal Dreams should also start in October running in conjunction with Trampolin Hills.

It is all looking very promising indeed. Can't wait until Christmas when next over again.

I hope all this helps to reassure you all.

Kind regards,

Worcester

Have I missed something?

Has this development now been declared legal?

Has the council now approved everything & issued ALL the required licenses?

Has the issue of the BG's held by a Swiss bank been resolved?

Or has the developer spent a few euros of the buyers money doing a little cosmetic work just to keep people happy?

It's always good to have a sceptic but would rather for the moment like to believe our long wait is coming to an end in a positive way.

Frankly see no reason why the developer would spend any money, no matter how small to keep people happy. Don't think we've been happy for a while now and spending any unmnecessary money won't really affect th final outcome.

So let's work on the basis that things are at long last starting to move for us in the right direction. There's something to ponder on.

Now Now Rob6578, easy tiger.
I know what you mean, we'd all like some firmed up guarantees that all is well in the TH world, and I know this whole experince is leaving a pretty horrible taste in some people's mouths but I'm sure, that when we put down our deposits, we all knew that we were to a greater or lesser extent, taking a leap of faith! Over the last couple of years we've been told brilliant stuff and depressing stuff but when someone actually goes down there ( thanks Worcester ) and sees real building works going on, in the absense of factual comminication this does go some way to cheering us up.
Call me naive, but I  want to see the cup as half full and not half empty.

Just thought I'd send a brief email to say that my Dad popped in TH today and said there was a hive of activity going.  Much more so that when he went six weeks ago.  Plenty of surveyors with plans out and marking more plots.  The foundations for the houses on the first phase (to the right as you stand in the car park looking down over the golf course are being laid and the road has been cut out further down.  Plenty more machinery, materials and many many workman about.
