Please find below what some of us consider to be the facts in the situation around the Trampolin Hills Project.

La Verdad – the truth: The truth of the Trampolin Hills Project
What is the truth about the Tampolin Hills project?
Let’s start with some facts:
1. Grupo Trampolin has got the permission from the council to start selling apartments.
2. Grupo Trampolin has got the permissions to raise the buildings on the ground.
3. Grupo Trampolin has got the permissions to prepare the ground for the construction work included the golf court.
4. Grupo Trampolin has started out this project with the right ambitions and truly believed that they would succeed.
5. Grupo Trampolin has managed to sell almost all the apartments upfront.
6. The buyers has checked the permissions, the validity of the permissions, the bank guarantees, the contracts, the Grupo Trampolin’s reputation in the market, and found nothing wrong. Most of the buyers are professionals and very careful with their way of business.
7. The project is now “on hold” due to some technical difficulties in the council of Campos del Rio.
8. This situation is now threatening to suffocate the project, which once looked so promising. The customers, the clients, the workers, the company, the little man in the street are now suffering every day. People are struggling to keep their faith in the project and lawsuits are being raised.
Who are the actors in this play, and who has got something to loose in this project, and who wins?
The customers: The customers will lose their dream, including the money they have put into it, they will lose the belief in the Spanish governmental system, the beliefs in Spanish banks, Spanish law, Spanish entrepreneurs, etc.
The Client: Grupo Trampolin will lose their customers, their reputation, and their money.
The suppliers, and the suppliers suppliers: Waiting to deliver material to this project, will lose.
The workers and employees: With ambitions and hope to get this project going. They have spent some years of their life to sell and promote the development; if the project is stopped they may lose their job, and the effort that they have put into the project is worthless.
PSOE: The party is trying to get the wheel to go around, but today they are losing because someone has put a stick in to it. The Mayor is trying to hold onto his position, and if he does not succeed, he will be thrown and a new Mayor needs to be selected. They will lose.
PP: This party is the opposition and has stopped the development due to a technicality in Spanish governmental rules. They hide behind rules, but the party also has the possibility to solve the situation. I agree that rules should be followed, but sometimes the rules just don’t justify the consequences they have on “everyday people’s” life. Settlement between gentlemen is needed to solve the situation.
The solicitors: they will win anyhow, as always.
The newpapers: The newspapers have nothing to win or lose. They are just telling - the truth.
The “audience”: Will lose faith in their own system.
Conclusion: The only player that has a small possibility to win is the PP. – but then again they lose too.
The people in this party, if it is “Peoples Party” or “Popular Party” do not live up to their name. If they win, that will only be short time; it is assumed that they will lose faith in the community by stalling this process any longer. The people of Campos del Rio that voted for this party should urge them to be part of the solution to this situation. Enforce them to be responsible – then they have a possibility to keep their face and to win – in the long run.
The council has a responsibility to find a solution
The Mayor and the council of Campos del Rio have a moral obligation to find a way out of this deadlock position. They need to show themselves as responsible rulers that are able to find solutions rather than problems.
All are losers and there can be no winners in this game if the situation is not solved. The time is now for the parties to meet as gentlemen and find a way out of the situation. The permission should be given to start the construction work without any more delay.
The urgency of the situation is shown by the lawsuits that already are coming to Grupo Trampolin. Please act now so that people can rest assured that the project will go ahead – with only a minor delay. It is still time to rescue the situation, but the time and patience are running out.
What happens if the project is stopped: The lawyers will of course be very pleased with the situation, but the rest of the players will be caught in a battle that will last for years – and still end up as losers.
The ground is prepared, the workers are ready, the apartments and houses are sold, and the suppliers are ready to deliver material, the customers are ready to see some action, the inhabitants of Campos del Rio needs some development in the area.
A little word about Antonio
As for everything that is written about Antonio Martinez, you all must bear in mind that he is the employer of many people that has faith in him, and has built up relationship with buyers, suppliers, partners, etc. He has started this company for a reason – not to fool people – but to make their dream come through. And by doing this he earns some money, yes. But why shouldn’t he – Right now, Antonio is the one that has most to lose: his name, reputation, money and friends. All of you that envy his position should try to start a company and try to do what he is doing, imagine yourselves in his shoes right now. You Spanish people should be really proud of him instead of kicking dirt in his face – he is one of your kind – A Spanish company with Spanish money and a Spanish owner – support him!
He is not representing an international company that takes the money out of Spain after he has earned them, but he brings money into Spain, and the money stays there to develop Spain further. And that’s what this really matters in the long run - for Spain.
SO PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR ON.
HELP US ALL TO KEEP THE FAITH –that this project will fly and that we can enjoy our place in the sun. We all have everything to gain - and little time to solve the situation.
