TRAMPOLIN HILLS PROTEST
People who paid a deposit for a house in Trampolin Hills,on the San - Javier motorway,held a protest last week saying they are not prepared to sit back and wait for a refund which they fear they will never see anyway.Over 2,800 houses were planned for this macro - project,which included a golf course and other leisure services,but building has been halted.
Antonio Martinez the president of the Trampolin Hills promotion company is blaming the power struggle between the PP and PSOE regional and national Governments for the blockage to the building .The project was given the go ahead initially, however the building work is now over two years behind schedule which seems to be because the "PLAN PARCIAL" is still not ready.Another spanner in the works is that the local Mayor and one of his councillors had financial interests in the urbanisation causing a lack of confidence in the local government who have voted against the change in land status.Those who are waiting for their home to be built there are threatening to sue the company and are talking about accusing them of swindle,fearing they will not only lose the dream home they want but also the money they have paid the company.
The builder Antonio Martinez has said that all he wants to be able to do is build If they give me a provisional license i will have 200 houses built in three months however if not the Town Hall will have to respond to the damage they are causing me and my clients.Over a thousand clients have invested in houses on this planned project The majority are from UK,Ireland, Norway,Finland and Germany.
