I've just had another birthday (29th March, not 29th birthday!)

Hi Guys

Just got back today from Spain and I visited TH where I spent a couple of hours and I have come away feeling more encouraged they are hoping that a full council meeting can be called for the end of October for a vote if not it will be at the November meeting. The other politician apart from the Mayor who at the moment is unable to vote will be able to vote from the same time as the Mayor and they are both in favour of the project. Having seen that they have approx 2000 tonnes of sand and 2000 tonnes of ballast on site ready to go all vehicles and machinery in place I feel more confident that the project will be on the go from the latest end of November. The other thing that you might like to know is that there are going to be NEW tiles available in about 3 weeks time if you contact TH they should be able to send you either pictures or a brochure of the new tiles. While I was there asked a few questions and did not seem to get the usual answers but seem to get some very honest answers.

Thanks Brian, did you find out if the Mayor has had his approval to vote yet or when it is likely to come through? The last I read he was waiting for the legal documents to come through to allow him to vote in November? Obviously this being imperative to the progress of the development.

Please do not be bamboozled by TH!!

This is Spain, we live here, and it AIN't England!!  Spain is a law unto themselves!!!  We are very disallusioned with the Legal entity, SOME are bent, and you have to take some of what you are told with a 'pinch of salt'''  

I think , one day, the EU, will catch up with it all, and then you will see some changes!!! BIG TIIME!!! 
Trouble is, can we afford to wait, and why should we!!! TH is holding out money, probably helping to pay for the Mercedes, 4wheel drive Porches, BMW rep cars etc etc. Quite an eye-opener when you go to their offices!! 

I must admit unless I hear it from the horses mouth i.e. the town hall, then I am afraid I cannot believe what TH say about a vote end of October. They said this previously would be end of June and it never happened. In an article in June in the Spanish newspaper the mayor said he was waiting for legal authorities to say he could vote, he said he expected this to be in a month or so (from the end of June). I check the newspapers and there has been no indication of this as yet.
