Can I be a bit cheeky and ask if anyone has had a valuation on a 2 bedroom, north facing yet?  We're applying for a Spanish mortgage and it would be good to have a little inside information.  The site is looking fantastic. Can't wait to get out there hopefully in September or early October.

Yes, taking up the builder's mortgage at Banco Popular would save some purchase expenses but they can only offer Capital and Interest.  Good valuation, my northfacing should be a little less but nevertheless good for property prices just now.  We are looking for Interest only and there seems to be some around if you look for them.

It would appear then that prices have in fact gone up, I suppose partly due to the exchange rate but still encouraging and this currency dilema  can`t last for ever....can it??

Does anyone know if all houses on CDP have now been sold & what price any remaining units are being offererd for, we have a 3 bed semi on Ph 5 so would be interested how much it may be worth currently.

Regarding mortgages, we are looking to raise funds to pay the balance & I am going to talk to HIFX & a couple of UK banks who offer good rates for foriegn purchases, if I discover any `bargains` I`ll let you all know.

BTW Stella & I are going over on 15th, Oct if anyone else will be there at the same time it might be nice to meet up for a drink or two...

Cheers,

Roger & Stella

Hi Mojito,
When we bought our 2 bed south facing it was198000 e. north facing were 10000 e less. Arsenal has had his valued at 203000, so if they were 10k less , 193000, now, is a good guide. Maybe!

Hi RaynAnn,

In Arsenals post it says he has been valued at 203,000 (english pounds), which i presume is a typo error on his part. However if it is not
the prices have risen quite considerably, so it may be useful if Arsenal could clarify Pounds or Euros. We have a 3 bed on phase 10 and
based on a previous post it woul appear Peinsa are now asking more for th remaining plots.
