Hi Everyone,

I made an enquiry recently via the CDP site office and Yolanda replied saying our house WILL be ready December or January, but possibly before.

Somehow I actually think this is going to happen now  so good news eh!

Anyone got ideas regarding buying furniture, I believe there is an Ikea in Murcia but any info wouls be appreciated.

Cheers,

Roger & Stella

Hi Roger & Stella,

Great news about your house on phase v. Just five more phases to go for ours !

There is an Ikea store at Murcia, go on ikea.com and follow the link to the spanish site, then to murcia store.

There is also local furniture stores in San juan ,Aguilas and Mojacar. Further afield there is a big shopping centre in Almeria. Look on previous threads there is advice there as well.

Happy days !

Ray and Ann

LATER PHASE RELEASES/GENERAL

After a bit of communications! We have eventually got our bank guarantee renewed for our property on Phase 7.

Having seen pictures recently of the phase it looks like it is well on it's way to completion.  We will see how far, first hand when we are out in about a months time.

Within the guarantee and dialogue, the builders have advised that this phase will be ready for completion Feb 09.

It will be interesting to hear from fellow buyers in due course, when habitation licences are granted for the early releases and when notification properties are ready to complete are served on post phase 3 of the development.

Noting that currently services on the early phases are through the builder, it will be worth monitoring as more houses are occupied, how the generaters etc. support.  The reason I mention this is that on the development in Murcia that the builders did, the houses were for some time on builders services and as greater numbers were reliant upon this means, combined with usage of air conditioning there were a number of instances where the generators regularly were cutting out.  Hopefully, the habitation licences will be granted quickly for the properties now ready.  More information relating to events on the Murcia site are available on this forum under the development name.
