Can you advise where in the area we can watch Sky or Setanta Sports. We have visited San juan and stayed in Aquilas on a couple of occasions and only found Pubs in Mojacar that show all the games. We are coming out in October and staying in san juan and we are wondering where we might see the games. Also can you advise the most reliable company and potential costs of having Satellite TV installed as we bought on Phase 9 Regards

You can see all the football at the Montesol, now an english bar and the owner is a Man Utd supporter (but don't hold that against him), hopefully it will still be open on October, some bars close away from the main holiday season.
Can't advise you on the satellite at the moment, we just brought our sky + box & viewing card and we get Sky Sports 1 and Setanta (not sure what other sports channels we get).
Are you just wanting to watch football in general or do you follow a particualr team?
We're from Sheffield so premiership football isn't something we're too familiar with 
October is a beautiful time here, it's crazy hot at the moment.

Hi,
If you go on the earlier thread from Richclarkee "Pool Pics" you will see a link to his web site and info on a local company who will install satellite tv. The pool pics are brill as well, and they show what the site should look like when finished.

Thanks to J&N and Rayann for their responses. For my sins I am a huge Arsenal supporter who lives in Dublin Ireland. Where exactly is the Montesol bar and does anyone know if the instatlation of digital tv is being offered by the developers at a price. I have discovered that there is a bar called the Oasis Bar just north of Aquilas that serves food and shows the sports.

The Montesol is in San Juan about 100yards from Calas del Pinar heading out towards Aguilas. Serves food all day (including an all day breakfast.) http://hotelmontesol.net
As an Arsenal supporter, I'm sure you;ll enjoy chats with Ron, the owner (a Man Utd supporter)

Oh, and forgot to add - when we asked in the office about digital tv we were told it was down to us, communal Spanish tv aerials are being put up, as far as I can make out - on each phase.
