Bank repossesed property & mortgage

Hi we signed up for one of the new apartments due for completion in March 09, not sure what phase this is. We have been told that the infrastucture for these properties is now in place and the footings have already been done. Wonder if anyone has any further info about the apartments or should I say bungalows. We have been asking our solicitor for a builders guarantee for a few months now but not having any luck, the solicitors say that they are waiting for Peinsa. We will be returning to San Juan as soon as there is something to look at with the apartments.

I am around there quite frequently so can keep an eye on developments and maybe send some photos.

Thanks for your reply, not sure which is the relevant info re the location of our apartment so will give you everything on plans and may be you could pick out what you need.

R-3, Street D, Tipo-5 Bungalow no 7. Its the first plot for Peinsa below the Beverley Hills.

Our solicitor Juan Cruz Garcia Sanchez has told us that he is waiting for the builders guarantee from Peinsa for several clients, has any one had any luck obtaining builders guarantee recently.

Raining again! next March can't come soon enough so that we can just pop over for long weekends.

Thanks for the info - should be able to find it from that. I think that these are pretty well on but will take a look to verify. Will be going to site at weekend so will take photographs.

Quite a few people are having a little trouble with bank guarantees at the moment - we have been waiting for ours renewing since end of March - glad you reminded me so I can chase it up again,

I think I was a little confused with the other 'bungalows' being built just in front of the Beverley Hills complex. These are nothing to do with Peinsa.

The Peinsa bungalows are to the north-east of the main development surrounded by green areas. Apart from the site being prepared nothing has yet been started. The building licences have been issued and work is expected to start after the August break.

I will keep an eye open and let you know of any developments.

thanks for enquiring about our property, thats the only accurate information we have had. When we reserved the property we were promised a weekly update from the agents regarding the progress unfortunately once our deposit was paid the only contact made was by us. Still no builders guarantee but looks like everyone in the same position
