Administrator dictating who is used for Community works

The person in question from Polaris didnt say they wernt going to build it, just that they didnt want to run it. I cant give you any contact details for the persons privacy but they are in a senior management position within the Polaris group.

looking at the site last week, there is a considerable amount of land to the right of the hacienda that is obviously not listed!

i hope at the agm - people will be pushing/asking awkward questions about building adequate premises immediately

5 years on there are no reasons why the facility hasnt been finished to the standard we were sold - 5* -at the moment while the accomodation is nice and the pools are nice - riquelme is not a 5* resort and it is annoying to see that pw have the cheek to still display on websites/ estate agents the facilities that we have at the resort!!

Any updates / whispers rumours regarding the town centre guys ?

It seems to have been quiet for such a long time. I know I'm living in hope but .....  !

I dont want to be over optimistic, but I received an e-mail recently from the Sucina newsletter and it had this paragraph in it, regarding HR.

RIQUELME (Aidan)
The girls in the call centre are being relocated to Terrazas De La Torre from 16th June and the only way of reporting issues will be by telephone or email. Its quite disappointing that the information was not communicated to us. The post boxes now have a pergola with a perspex covering. 
Planning permission for the HaciendaTown Centre was granted 2 months ago. However as Polaris have already put their resources on Condado de Alhama work will commence in August ?????    (Strong rumour from Polaris insider)
 The play areas will open next week????   Work will commence on the sports area next week????

I dont want to build up our hopes too much, and if it were true, surely our residents committee would know about it??

                                       the HRGR website has confirmation that the call centre is moving :

As you will see they've also confirmed that  PW now have the licence to build the courts on the area between phase 1 and phase 7 and that work will begin shortly and is hoped to be finished for August.

As you say John, lets keep our fingers crossed about the town centre - hopefully we might hear something following the  meeting that Rosortalia have next Tuesday.

is there any up date on the road from succina

has the road been completed and resurfaced etc or is it still  the same as before

Not sure about the road from Sucina but someone has posted on another forum that the road from Avileses to Paralleja has been resurfaced.

Returned last Saturday (6/6):
Road to Sucina looks almost done and imagine ready to open in the next month or two. Main road to coast also comming on well and can see a big difference from our visits 6 weeks apart April to June.

HRGR website/News has good news for all owners on HR. they say the license has been issued for town centre and work to start in Sept!!

Just returned from two and a half glorious weeks on HRGR. Thought I would post this as we found many positive things happening :

• As of Tuesday (18/8) workmen on roof of Hacienda removing tiles, presumably in preparation for refurb of the building
• The resort is in full bloom and looks spectacular. The new gardeners have certainly made a difference
• Thank you Resortalia, they take a hammering on here but I found them fantastic - I reported a few minor problems, fence panels loose around pool, lift playing up and garage lights not working properly. The fence panels were fixed same day, the lift people came that day to look at the lift and fixed it the next day and the same day the garage lights problem was sorted.
• Our pool was regularly maintained and cleaned
• Sports area progressing albeit very slowly.
• Golf course maturing and is a real test.

Hope that this might serve to cheer one or two people up !

Nice post Paul,

We were over in June/July for three weeks and there were a lot of improvements then.  Nice to see its continuing.

We're over again next month and looking forward to an easier drive from Sucina to the resort!!!

Has anyone had flaking paint problems?

I rang PW and they said it was not their problem.

Have email them and phoned but cant get any further, any ideas ?

Bet they wont let me paint it fire engine red.

Hi Handyman,

Report it to Resortalia.  They and the committee have commissioned a surveyer to take a look around the resort and do a report for presentation to PW.  I think damp issues and flakey paint are on the agenda

has anybody had problems with ants and if so how to get rid of them

just resently - shortly after gardeners removed some bushes from the front of block 19 - we discovered a few in our kitchen coming through a wall beside the life shaft.

we would like to get rid even if there are only a few

I have tried to get info from PW regarding, exactly what facilities will be in the new town Centre. They have not replied so far (one month). Resortalia did reply and said that they have not been informed either.

I assume that PW must know exactly what the plans are in order to get planning.

Does anyone have any further info?
