Hi,

regarding maintanence fees(community charge), they do not cover Golf, in fact the Golf course is a completly seperate entity, and is owned by a seperate company. The Golf courses which were Polaris were bought from them when they got into financial difficulties. the Golf course owners are responsible for the maintenance of the course and the club house and other shops etc in the town center.

The community (owners) are responsible for the rest of the resort.

The community fees go to gardeners, security, pool maint. lift maint. electricity costs for general areas, cleaning of blocks, and overall site insurance.

Hi,

glad to hear that you liked the resort. I am an owner on the Resort and we love it, unfortunatly we can only get over there a few times a year. Its extremly relaxing, well maintained and security keep a close eye on things. The only down side is that there are not too many facilities in the town centre, hiring a car is well advised as the local village, Sucina, has all the amenities you need.

If you have children, then I would advise you to consider a ground floor apartment. The ground floor gives great access to the pools and they come with a small garden. The higher floors of course give a better view of the golf course. Keep in mind also that the community fee's are almost 1,000 Euro per year. All in all, at the prices they are being offered for at the moment, you cant go wrong.

Hi Everyone,

I am just in the process of renewing my property insurance and I seem to be hitting a brick wall. I have a mortgage with CAM bank for approx 68K but last year they insisted on cover for 150K. I paid for the "top up" with Mapfre, as they only covered 91K on the site insurance. This was done through, Rodini associates, who seemed to be the agents for HR.

This year, Rodini are not answering my e-mails. I have asked CAM how much cover I need for rebuild cover, and they now say that it's 181K???. Does anyone know if I have to stick with Mapfre, as they are site insurers, or can I get the top up elsewhere at better value.

Does anyone know the Tel. No. of CAM in Sucina, as the No. I have, seems to have changed.

Thank you

John

Hi All,

I see today, 10th, on official HR website, that Paramount Pictures have CONFIRMED that they ARE to build a theme park in Murcia probably near to Corvera Airport. Check site for links.

I have heard very little about the new Airport at Corvera. Has this fallen victim to the recession, or is it still under construction. If it is still on stream, does anyone know which airlines may be using it.

Thanks

John
