Hi All,

Does anyone know the details regarding the 'horizontal property law' wth regards to prohibiting bbq's on individual balconies/patios?

I can't see the problem with someone on a top floor apartment or duplex from having a barbecue on their balcony as there's no property directly above.

I have this point on an email that will go to Monica at the weekend.

I do not want to disturb her at the moment because she is actually on holiday at Thalassa & it is not fair to take up too much of her time. Once I have a reply, I will update.

We stayed on resort last year and they have got around this by buying "outdoor gas cookers".  

I think it is the hot charcoal and flying sparks that cause the concern as a fire hazard.
