Help.Lost payasgo movistar mobile phone but need to keep old number

Hi
I lost my payasyougo Movistar phone on newyears eve. its only a cheap phone but I really need to keep the phone number for business. I have the original box and ref number etc. I take it I will have to go into local Movistar to ask but does anyone know if its possible to do this? and if so is it straight forward? obviously I will have to buy a new phone etc.

Yes, they will do a copy and you will be able to keep the number

I sorted it with some ease. Cost 7 euro for the copied sim card and 10 for a new basic phone.
